An Invitation
Beloved Women believes that true fulfillment and purpose can be achieved through a personal relationship with God. Our sin, however, prevents us from having that relationship. Since God is holy, He cannot allow sin to go unpunished, and the result of our sin leads to death. But God still wanted to be in relationship with us, so He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place. Yes, He really loves us that much. That is why we are called His Beloved. Now, instead of death, anyone who places their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord of their life and Savior from their sins will be saved. We invite you to begin a relationship with God through faith in Christ.
God loves you. No matter where you are, what you have done, or what has been done to you, God still loves you. He wants to forgive you and have fellowship with you so you may experience His love.
“I have loved you with an everlasting love.” — Jeremiah 31:3
“God is love.” — 1 John 4:16
Below are five steps you can take to enter a relationship with God and become a Christian.
1. Acknowledge that you have sinned.
"As it is written: 'There is no one righteous, not even one'” (Romans 3:10)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
2. Realize that there is a penalty for your sin.
(The scriptures let us know that the penalty for sin is death. Death meaning separation from God into the lake of fire, as stated in Revelation 21:8)
"For the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23a)
"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." (Revelations 21:8)
3. Acknowledge that Christ paid the penalty of sin for you.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
4. Acknowledge that Christ wants to give you the free gift of eternal life.
"But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23b)
5. Believe in Christ and ask Him to be your Savior.
"That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
"For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (Romans 10:10)
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Trusting in Jesus’ sacrifice for you is the only way to find forgiveness from God and to begin a relationship with Him. We urge you to take this step of faith today. To do that, simply talk to God – this is called praying – and tell Him you believe in His Son. We suggest a prayer like this:
“Lord Jesus Christ, I am sorry for what I have done wrong in my life. I ask your forgiveness and now turn from everything that I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit, and be with me forever. Thank You, Lord Jesus, Amen.”
